   I only wish I had a brand with my initials! I thought long and hard about applying spray paint to my pristine new tools, but I thought it would be more resilient than the nail polish option. And now I can spot them clear across the kitchen!

   I found you from Becks and Posh! I just recently started culinary school too and I like how you branded your tools! I was thinking colored electric tape, but I think I like your spray paint better!

   I was torn over tape and painting myself, and I’m still not sure…. I’ve noticed that some paint has flaked off others’ knives… That probably happens when they’re being washed, but it freaks me out that it could get into the food. I’m kind of jealous of the electrical taped tools — they look really neat and clean. On the other hand, spraypainting them was fun.

   I hope that you’re enjoying culinary school so far! You’re so lucky, too, to have access to all the food in NYC. I like your Shake Shack countdown–hehe only two more days! I love that place.
