Rachael Ray Just Gave Two Good Tips in One Episode That I Don’t Want to Forget


2 parts chicken stock to 1 part beef stock approximates veal stock.

Rubbing cutting boards with coarse salt while washing them gets flavors and smells out.  Oddly enough, I was reading a Julia Child cookbook this morning in which she recommends washing your hands like this to get garlic and onion scents off them.
