I’m Looking for a Full-Time Job…
… in pastry around the Napa area, preferably at an establishment that leans towards innovative desserts made of fresh, seasonal ingredients… but I’m open to consider anything that comes up. I simply want to continue to learn as much as I can about desserts… and make delicious ones. I’ve posted my resume on the sidebar and would be grateful for any leads emailed to me.
Thank you!

Hello!
Good luck in your pursuit of a job!
I’ve been reading your blog for some months. I came across it when I was researching a trip to Napa. Unfortunately I have not yet been able to visit Napa, but when I do I will visit some of the places you have recommended.
I live in Los Angeles. Per your recommendation: I visited Jin Pasterrie and the City Bakery. I enjoyed both places.
Once again, good luck with your new adventure! I will continue reading and learning from you!

Hi,
I just found your blog randomly, but regarding the above post, how about the French Laundry? Seems like an obvious choice (maybe you already considered it), but I guarantee that you won’t get a better pastry job anywhere, except for maybe at per se, under Sebastien Rouxel. I work for TKRG, at Bouchon Bakery in New York, and the pastries at BB and per se are works of art. Apply to the French Laundry; it’ll be the best career choice you’ll have ever made.
