BonBonBars in San Francisco!

I sent my first order to a store in San Francisco this week.  The Candy Store in the Russian Hill District is carrying my Caramel Nut Bars and Vanilla Marshmallows.  I haven’t been able to go to the store yet myself, but it seems like they carry a fantastic, well-chosen array of candy and I can’t wait to visit the next time I’m in SF.  Diane Campbell, one of the owners, was one of the featured women shopkeepers in the January issue of Real Simple magazine.

So, if you’re in the area, stop by for candy bars or marshmallows and say hello!

I like the store a lot. Everyone there seems to know a lot about the candy they carry, especially Diane. I got a large selection of licorice when I was there last November. They also carry Zotter, a fair trade candy bar from Austria that are about the same price as yours.

Will they eventually carry the rest of your line of confections?

Cybele - Zotter — another one I want to try. Diane said that they also have a Scotch Bar (and so does Chocolat Moderne). And I had a lot of fun talking to Diane. She’s so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about all aspects of the candy field.

Bek - I don’t know, it will depend on a lot of factors.

Well I will be sure to ask when I make a trek there the next time I’m in the bay area!

    Cool, thanks!
